Photo of the Week

And now, the moment you've been waiting for... Allow me to introduce the original "chopper" model. Ah yes, there was a day when you could rake in the compliments with this cutting-edge model ... and I hear it got excellent grass mileage, too. Someone had a great imagination (and way too much time on their hands) when they thought up this hybrid. I can just picture the inventor, mounting the mobile mower in a Bermuda shirt, feet in flip-flops, with a Panama Jack hat and a tall, cool glass of lemonade, complete with the little umbrella. Scary thought, huh? As you venture out to do yard work this year, keep in mind that modern-day mowers are much more menacing. A slip, a trip, or a moment of misplaced concentration can result in the loss of a hand or foot. Wear the right gear and don't modify the equipment. Your "creation" just might be even more dangerous that what you started with. I want to thank you all for your support through the years. I've enjoyed bringing the "Photo of the Week" and the rest of our website into your homes and workspaces. Alas, as they say, all good things must come to an end. I'll now be at the helm of another fine website. I dislike long goodbyes, so folks, be safe. Be smart. And don't get slack...I'll have my camera at the ready so that whoever takes my place here can display your unsafe act of lunacy on a future photo of the week. - Webmaster |
